Critical Care Paramedics

Our Specialty Transport Teams are ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Team consists of highly trained critical care paramedics. Team members were selected because of their desire to make quality patient care and excellent customer service their highest priority.

All critical care paramedics on the team are required to complete the critical care paramedic training course and maintain additional EMS related certifications. Additionally, clinical rotations are provided within the hospital or medical center to promote increased patient contact and experience. Additional EMS system orientation may include the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Heart Unit, Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Operating Room.

Advanced Certifications may include:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)
  • Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician (CCEMT-P)
  • Intra-aortic Balloon Pump Operator (IABP)
  • International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers (PEEP)
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
